FAQ

Questions clients usually ask first.

Don't see yours? Send me a note. I'll give you a straight answer, not a sales pitch.

Do you work on flat fees or by the hour?
Most trademark work, contract drafting, and entity formation is flat-fee, quoted in writing before we start. Ongoing counsel and disputes are hourly, with clear estimates up front.
Do I need a trademark before I launch?
Not legally, but launching without one is the most common (and expensive) mistake I see. A clearance search before you print labels, buy domains, or run ads usually pays for itself many times over.
Can you review a contract I've already signed?
Yes. I can review what you signed, explain your actual rights and obligations, and tell you whether there's room to renegotiate or get out.
Do you take clients outside California?
Trademark and copyright work is federal, so I work with clients across the country. For state-specific matters, I'm licensed in California.
What kinds of businesses do you work with?
Fashion and apparel, AI and tech companies, content creators, marketing agencies, CPG brands, coaches and educators, and fellow attorneys who need outside counsel on IP matters.
